Residents at HC-One’s Hartford Court care home in Cramlington recently got their creative heads on made two DIY scarecrows that now reside in the homes lounge, ready for Halloween.
Residents and Colleagues at Hartford Court have been busy creating some DIY scarecrows ready for Halloween. Residents and Colleagues enjoyed a lot of laughs whilst stuffing the scarecrows who are now all ready for next month.
One Hartford Court Resident said: “What a laugh we had, I have never laughed so much in a long time stuffing those legs.”
Hartford Court Colleagues even had cotton masks cut by a local lady named Helen Coulson, cousin of Carol Birch, the homes wellbeing coordinator, so they could comply with correct Personal protective equipment guidance.
Janice Bell, Hartford Court Home Manager said: “It was lovely to see everyone having so much fun and the end result was fantastic.”
