Colleagues at HC-One’s Hartford Court care home in Cramlington have received a wonderful Christmas donation from a local couple.
This year, homes have been encouraged to go big outside with their Christmas decorations. Hearing this news, William Small and Emma Snowdon, who is a Care Assistant at Hartford, took it upon themselves to build a life size sleigh to go on the home’s patio.
From designing the template, to cutting out the initial design, to painting and decorating the sleigh, they enjoyed every minute of it and were so proud of what they had created for Residents.
The best part was seeing the reaction of the Residents faces when it was all done and in place, they absolutely loved the sleigh and it definitely kickstarted the festivities in the home.
