Cupid arrives at Runcorn care homeThe Valentine’s Day cupid arrived early for the Colleagues at HC-One’s Beechcroft care home in Palacefields, Cheshire.

While Residents were busy enjoying their Chinese New Year feast, Colleagues were already celebrating Valentine’s Day when a special delivery came for them. Ten boxes filled with sweet treats arrived at the home for some very lucky Colleagues, generously donated by the Acting Home Manager.

Colleagues were asked to nominate who they would like to see get one of the delicious boxes and after votes were cast the ten Colleagues received their treats.

Beechcroft Acting Home Manager, Vicki Costello, said: “It was lovely to be able to bring smiles and a little gift for the team.”

But the lucky ten weren’t the only ones to get a special treat. Beechcroft Domestic Assistant, Linda Stoddart, received a special award for her long service.

Linda has worked at the care home for an incredible 20 years, keeping the home running and supporting the Residents who live there. She was awarded with a certificate and a very special badge.

Vicki, Acting Home Manager, commented: “I’m so happy for her. We’re glad she was on shift on the anniversary of her starting her time at Beechcroft.”
