Some of the Residents at Manchester’s residential care home,
Worsley Lodge, had been really looking forward to their weekly dominoes group this week.
Quite a few Residents joined in today, including Margaret, John, Mary and Moragh who had not played for a long time and was a bit worried. Colleagues assured them they will soon pick it up again, and of course they did!
Later in the afternoon, everyone had a break for a brew, homemade biscuits and a chat.
Each Resident thoroughly enjoyed it when they won the game and all agreed it was a lovely, relaxing afternoon.
Anne Bannon, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It’s nice that Residents look forward to their weekly session of dominoes together.”
