Residents at HC-One’s The Hyde care home in Walditch, Bridport have now had their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
The Hyde is now one step closer to returning to normality once again and Residents are looking forwards to eventually being reunited with their families.
Colleagues supported Residents throughout the day to help with phobias and concerns with cups of tea, plenty of chocolate and some reassurance.
One valiant Resident commented: “I’ve had my injection and it didn’t hurt. I was brave.”
The vaccine is currently being rolled out to Residents and staff in care homes under guidance from the Department of Health.
Victoria Park Home Manager, Nicola Grinton, said: “It is great that our Residents are receiving their Covid vaccination.
“They have all been so keen and happy to get it.”
