Dress down Friday at Lyndon Hall care homeThe housekeeping team at Lyndon Hall care home, in West Bromwich, decided to have a good laugh with Residents by dressing up as Nora Batty!

For those that do not know, Nora Batty was a fictional character in the sitcom ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ and is very popular with the Residents. Typically, she would wear wrinkled stockings, a pinny or overall and her hair in curlers. So, the housekeeping team did just that!

The home was filled with fun and laughter. Colleagues generated conversations about TV programmes and there was lots of reminiscing, laughing and sharing stories.

One Resident said, “They look so good, I can’t stop laughing.”

Another added, “I laugh every time I see them!”

Julie Hurst, Home Manager at Lyndon Hall, commented, “The staff looked so good and are going to make this a regular Friday dress up with something new every week.”
