The weather has been extremely hot at this Bloxwich care home as temperature soared across the West Midlands this week. So, what’s better than an ice-cream and a cold drink in the garden while sat in the shade with some great company?
HC-One Colleagues had created a nice little sun garden for Residents to have a chat in the sunshine while drinks were prepared and of course the signature sunshine ice-creams for everyone.
Staff also thought it would be a great idea to add a little fun to the day so got the water pistols out for Residents to target them with (something they wish they hadn’t!)
Everyone had a lovely day including Residents Susan, Peter, Glen and Craig.
Heather, who is part of the wellbeing team, said, “We all had great fun today and the sunshine really helped! Residents particularly loved the ice-cream.”
