To promote World Health Day to Residents at HC-One’s Dingle Meadow care home in Dudley, Colleagues at the home provided a range of healthy drinks and snacks to Residents.
These ranged from fruit punches, smoothies and infused juices, to fruit bags, salads and some lovely sandwiches and jellies, which everyone enjoyed.
Followed by this, Colleagues promoted some gentle exercise and ball games to get everyone moving and engaging in physical activity, which promotes wellbeing, weight loss and lessens risk of diseases such as heart disease, stroke and more.
Residents really enjoyed the day, having some healthy light food and engaging in some physical exercise, which really opened their mind to increasing their wellbeing.
Dingle Meadow is a purpose-built care home, located within a peaceful residential area of Oldbury in the West Midlands, residential care and residential memory care for those living with dementia.
