Residents and members of the team at HC-One’s Ashgrove care home were delighted to receive a delivery of eggs in an incubator, with the hope of watching them hatch.
Over time, the chicks began hatching from their eggs, much to the excitement of the Residents and their Relatives, as they soon became strong enough to be held by those in the home.
The interaction between the Residents, their families of all ages and the chicks that had hatched, was wonderful to see as they all watched in awe at the cute little animals.
One Resident remarked: “It was such a wonderful experience to see the chicks being hatched, they are such sweet little creatures.”
