Residents at Riverside View care home in Dundee were delighted to take a walk on the wild side as animal adventure organisation Zoolab visited the home.
Many Residents plucked up the courage to touch and hold the creatures visiting the home, which included cockroaches, giant snails, a tarantula, bearded dragon and a cornsnake.
Everyone loved learning about the creatures, learning about their habitats, diets and lifespans.
Amanda Burke, Home Manager at Riverside View, said: “The visit from Zoolab went down a treat with Residents, with many of them even bravely holding the animals. They loved the session and we already can’t wait to host similar events in the future.”
