Grampian Court Resident, Elizabeth, turned 92 on Saturday 8th August and celebrated it with her friends and Colleagues in the home. Elizabeth and other Residents enjoyed some lovely afternoon tea and cake, which was shared with everyone.

Later in the day, Elizabeth’s family came to visit with presents and so they could send Elizabeth some socially distanced birthday wishes.

Grampian Court have a pet canary which everyone loves. Elizabeth always goes to see the homes canary and often takes him to her room for a chat. Colleagues told Elizabeth’s family this and when they were giving Elizabeth her presents, they showed her a lovely colourful canary, all for herself.

Elizabeth was overjoyed and sits chatting to him. He has been named 'Timothy', “he is such a beautiful bird, I love his colour,” said Elizabeth, a Resident at Grampian Court.
