Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s St Margaret’s care home in Durham are embracing the festive spirit as Colleagues decorate the outside of the home with colourful Christmas lights.
This year, St Margaret’s are decorating the outdoor areas of the care home as well as Residents’ bedrooms but as indoor decorations are prohibited until 13th December, the home has focused on the outdoors. Work is in progress to make the outdoors as festive as possible. Already it is starting to look a lot more like Christmas.
Residents can see the decorations from the homes cosy lounge, and they are really starting to feel festive now. The home have some lovely plans over Christmas and can’t wait to celebrate with the home and decorate their rooms in some lovely Christmas ornaments.
St Margaret’s Home Manager, Katherine Swainston said: “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, we can’t wait to see the final results.”
