Easter at Skellingthorpe care homeAt HC-One’s Lincoln based White Gables care home, which offers residential memory and nursing memory care they definitely had an Easter to remember this month.

This Easter was a private affair compared with previous years as there was not the usual hubbub of family visiting loved ones and joining in with activities.

Having said that, Colleagues and Residents still thoroughly enjoyed Easter. They spent several days leading up to Good Friday by making Easter bonnets for a competition (see pictured). First, second and third prizes were given out and everyone played games and had egg hunts.

All in all, a good day was had and everyone enjoyed being together as a family again. See pictured Residents and Colleagues Colin Graves, Ruby Blackburn, Karen Smith, Joan Turner, Katherine Trevor, Sheila O’Shea, Mandy Overton and Michelle Lees.

Catherine Mitchell, Care Home Manager, commented, “What a fantastic Easter we had. Especially when watching the Residents ‘pin the tail on the rabbit’ game, which was enjoyed by participants and spectators alike.”
