Easter celebrations at Sherwood care homeResidents and team members at HC-One’s Acacia care home in Sherwood, Nottingham enjoyed a fun-filled Easter weekend despite the restrictions caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Spirits were high as Residents celebrated the most important date in the Christian calendar with some eggs-tra special craft activities and a singalong. Everyone enjoyed making traditional Easter bonnets with Residents using their own creative flare to make theirs stand out.

Easter bonnets were donned for the special singalong where everyone sang their favourite tunes from the 50’s and 60’s before indulging in a chocolate Easter egg or two.

Acacia Home Manager, Georgina Jackson said: “Despite the current circumstances, we’ve had such a wonderful Easter weekend here at Acacia. It’s important that we celebrate and organise special events for Residents to get involved in and Easter is always a special date in the calendar.”
