At HC-One’s Devon based care home, that offers residential, nursing and dementia care, Easter Sunday was a memorable day.
Jill Watts and Marie Bourne, the wellbeing team, made sure that everyone was given an Easter Egg to celebrate the occasion, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
All Residents then took part in the annual Easter Bonnet parade. There were some truly wonderful entries, lovely colours and pretty flowers.
Rachael Rix, one of the Senior Carers, judged the bonnets and decided that Julie's hat won with several coming in a close second place. “It's going to be a really tough decision deciding on a winner for the Easter Bonnets,” she had remarked.
“What a wonderful array of hats!” commented Resident Elsie Cleasby.
Nicola Aggett, Senior Carer, added, “Don't they all look fabulous!”
