Easter surprise for Stanley care home ResidentsResidents at HC-One’s Stoneleigh care home in Stanley were surprised with a COVID-19 safe visit from their favourite Agnes Brown impersonator.

The Agnes Brown impersonator, from the famous Irish-British television sitcom Mrs. Brown’s Boys used to be a regular visitor to Stoneleigh prior to the COVID-19 outbreak across the UK.

As a special Easter treat she decided to stop by and wave to Residents from the home’s front entrance, this was just one stop on Mrs Brown’s busy day dropping off Easter eggs at local charities. All of the Residents at Stoneleigh were pleased to see her and waved through the windows.

Stoneleigh Home Manger, Susan Dodds said: “Thank you so much to Mrs Brown for thinking of us at Stoneleigh, your visit put a smile on everyone’s face and was the perfect start to our Easter weekend.”
