Colleagues and Residents at HC One’s April Park wanted to do something to give back to the community.
At the Eckington care home they like to be as involved as much as possible with the local community, and know they have been hit hard during lockdown too.
As all of the Residents are unable to go out into the community, the home try, wherever possible to help in any other way that they can.
So the Colleagues decided to collect food and other goods for a local Food Bank. The staff donated a large hamper of food goods to new hope food bank in Killamarsh, and they were absolutely blown away with the Kindness shown by April Park.
It is lovely to give back as they include the home as much as they can too.
