Essex Residents paint their very own care home gnomesResidents have been taking part in lots of garden-themed crafts to get ready for the springtime at HC-One’s The Hornchurch care home in Hornchurch, Essex.

They have been helping staff to paint gnomes, bird feeders and planters as they say goodbye to winter and begin preparations for the incoming warm weather.

It was a little cold and wet for Colleagues to see their handywork but Colleagues made a special video tour of the garden as they tidy and brighten it up. Residents saw their happy gnomes and Colleagues even managed to capture blue tits and robins snacking on the Resident’s colourful bird feeders.

The Hornchurch Home Manager, Tania Banner, said: “It was lovely to see the Residents helping out and talking about their favourite birds. Robins are their favourite.”
