Essex care home hosts pyjama dayResidents and Colleagues at Godden Lodge care home took part in a pyjama day in order to raise funds for Residents activities.

The Residents loved seeing the team of Colleagues looking silly in their pyjamas today and each Resident voted for their preferred pyjamas; some even joined in and dressed in pyjamas themselves to add to the donation fund.

One Colleague at Godden Lodge commented, “It was a really nice change for both the team and Residents to have this day and it was enjoyed by all, the whole home really came together; dressing up, making donations and brightening the Residents’ day with something a bit different.”

The home are yet to count how much money was raised but they are proud of those who took part and contributed to the cause; seeing the team out of uniform and the activity ladies visiting all the Residents on the units.

“All look lovely and very cosy in pyjamas. It’s nice to see and was a good laugh!”

Home Manager, Lanie Mizona, had a great laugh observing, “Are we going to bed or have I got to work at the wrong time?”
