Falkirk care home Residents enjoy cheerleading exercise sessionResidents at HC-One’s Kinnaird Manor care home in Falkirk enjoyed a cheerleading exercise session earlier this month as Colleagues dusted off the pom poms.

On 25th July, Colleagues at Kinnaird Manor dusted off the home’s pom poms and decided to get Residents involved in some fun cheerleading exercises. At first, some Residents needed a little bit of encouragement to get involved, but some just threw themselves into it.

Residents shook their pom poms to the ‘Hokey Cokey’, ‘YMCA’ and ‘I am The Music Man’ and they all, eventually, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Kinnaird Manor Resident, Hester Mac said: “"That was truly wonderful but I feel like I need a cup of tea and a nap now after all that excitement."

Some Residents liked the music, others loved shaking their pompoms and others thought it was hilarious to watch the staff dance along.

"It was great to see the residents enjoying themselves," said Kinnaird Manor maintenance office, Bob.
