Spirits are high this winter as Residents at HC-One’s Maple Court care home in Rowley Park, Stafford celebrate Christmas and New Year.
Residents at the home spent the festive week singing, relaxing, eating seasonal treats and sipping on wine and hot chocolate.
Everybody enjoyed their last Christmas-themed sing-a-long before an afternoon party on New Year’s Eve to welcome in 2021.
Residents spent the afternoon wine tasting and snacking on cheese and crackers while they chatted with each other and talked about what the new year could bring.
Dotty, a Resident at the home, said: “I’m really enjoying myself. I like the wine and cheese.”
The New Year’s Eve party was the perfect way to end the festive season at Maple Court and everyone was happy to be seeing in the new year.
Maple Court Housekeeper, Elizabeth, said: “What a lovely afternoon. It’s been a fantastic day.”
