Firework display for Oldbury ResidentsToday at Dingle Meadow care home, in the West Midlands, they had a wonderful day full of activities.

Firstly, the morning started with the ‘chit-chat club’ where Residents sit and have a good natter about anything and everything with fellow Residents and Colleagues alike.

Then at around 4:30pm, there was a feast of jacket potatoes, pork baps and beautiful cupcakes with marshmallows dotted on them. Everyone commented how much they enjoyed the food.

A littler later on, the care team assisted Residents over to the windows at the back garden where there was a fantastic display of fireworks; certainly the ‘Show of the Day’!

One Resident commented, “Great Display,” and another added, “It brings back memories of when my children were little.”

Home Manager, Emma Cuttress, remarked, “Everyone was so happy about the day. It was a lovely day to remember. All staff on duty helped anyone who wanted to see the Fireworks.”
