Residents at HC-One’s Greenways Court care home in Consett enjoyed their first drive out in the home’s minibus since COVID-19 restrictions have eased.
It was an exciting moment at Greenways Court as Residents were able to embark on their first trip out in the home’s minibus since the COVID-19 pandemic started in early 2020. Twelve Residents have enjoyed outings so far, which have included the beautiful sights of Derwent Reservoir and Allensford Park, where everyone enjoyed a delicious ice cream.
A great time was had by all, with one Resident commenting: “I am so happy we are able go out again, I loved admiring the local scenery.”
Greenways Court Home Manager, Kinga Kowaliczek said: “It’s wonderful that we are able to start enjoying drives in the minibus, hopefully, we will be able to have some more day trips planned in the summer months as restrictions continue to be lifted.”
