Football fun for Residents at Leicester care homeIn the morning session Residents watched the 1966 World Cup England Vs West Germany. The Residents also played football quizzes as well as watching the footballs funniest moments. 

Residents and staff all wore football shirts and enjoyed a selection of classic football stadium foods had a choice of pies, burgers and hot dogs with chips, mash and mushy peas. 

The dining room was decorated with all different flags to celebrate. Residents also had England flags as well to celebrate St Georges day. Football anthems were playing in the background and all the Residents loved to see the dining room decorated, even a couple joined in singing.

In the afternoon, Adam the homes Deputy Manager had a game of football on the balcony with David, where there were 2 mini goals set up. The aim of the game was who could get to 5 goals first and David won!  

Everybody had a lovely day and it was nice for the staff to see the men enjoy themselves and getting involved with football and volleyball.
