Residents at HC-One’s Hartford Court care home in Cramlington welcomed Poppy, a therapy dog from local company, Wagg and Co on Tuesday 22nd August.
As a regular visitor to Hartford Court, Poppy brings joy to Residents at the home and enjoys getting lots of attention and treats during her visits. Mark, Poppy’s owner also spends time chatting with the Residents and listens to stories from people who have owned a dog or other animal in their younger days.
Residents are always impressed at how well behaved Poppy is and love to watch her show of her best tricks, rewarding her with a treat and giving her lots of cuddles.
Janice Bell, home manager at Hartford Court said: “Poppy is a lovely dog who brings so much joy and happiness to the lives of our Residents, we are already looking forward to welcoming her and Mark on their next visit.”
