Residents from HC-One’s Beaconsfield Court care home in Barnard Castle were delighted to embark on their first day trip of the year to Herrington Park and for fish and chips on the seafront.
The first stop of the day was at Herrington Park, where Residents enjoyed a light stroll and admired the swans before heading to Seaham where everyone enjoyed a traditional fish and chip lunch.
Everyone had a lovely day and said it was wonderful to see all of the families enjoying their summer holidays together, it brought back lots of happy memories of days at the seaside with their children and grandchildren.
Beaconsfield Court Home Manager, Laura Langridge said: “I am so pleased that everyone enjoyed their first day trip of the year, there were lots of smiles and laughter throughout the day and there will be more exciting days out throughout the rest of the year.”
