Fun in the snow at Teesside care homeResidents enjoyed the snow today at HC-One’s Victoria House care home in Stockton-on-Tees, but for one Colleague seeing the snow was very special.

Farai Bhosha started working at the home in March after moving from South Africa and until now, has never seen snow in real life before.

The flakes started to fall around 3pm and as Residents and Colleagues looked out the windows, Farai had her very first experience of the cold flurry.

Residents laughed and smiled through the windows at Farai’s new experience as they sat in the warm with a cup of tea.

She said: “I have never seen snow before. It was magical!”

Farai was encouraged by other Colleagues to feel the snow and, as it tradition, stick out her tongue to feel the flakes land.
