Staff at HC-One’s Springfield House care home in Gateshead have been the recipients of a lovely heartfelt thank you from their Home Manager.
Over the past eleven weeks, frontline workers and social workers have put their lives on the line to take care of the most vulnerable in our society. Kay Rudd, Springfield House Home Manager decided to recognise the staff in her home who have put others before themselves.
Kay gave everyone a bracelet that said ‘thank you for your kindness during these challenging times’ and bar of chocolate, which always makes you feel better.
Staff at the home were so grateful for the gifts and are so proud that people are acknowledging the things they have had to sacrifice to look after Springfield House Residents.
Kay Rudd said: “I just want to say a massive heartfelt thank you to all our staff, these are very challenging times and everyone is pulling together to ensure we all come out the other side of this in good health, physically and mentally.”
