HC-One’s Greenways Court care home in Consett received a special donation from its local Morrisons supermarket filled with bedding plants to help transform the home’s grounds.
A representative from Morrisons delivered three large boxes filled with beautiful bedding plants, everyone at Greenways Court was delighted with the donation and quickly got to work planting the flowers throughout the grounds and in pots.
After their hard work, Residents enjoyed a refreshing ice lolly as a reward as they admired the freshly planted flowers. All of the Residents commented on how thoughtful it was of Morrisons to provide such lovely flowers that will bring some colour to the grounds.
Greenways Court Home Manager, Kinga Kowaliczek said: “Thank you so much to Morrisons for their thoughtful gesture, we are looking forward to seeing the flowers bursting with colour when the flowers blossom.”
