Glasgow care home Residents enjoy King of Rock N Roll afternoonResidents from HC-One’s Eastbank care home in Shettleston, Glasgow visited local community centre, Greater Easterhouse Supporting Hands (GESH) on Wednesday 25th September for an afternoon of singing and dancing to classic hits performed by an Elvis tribute performer.

GESH is volunteer-operated community hub which provides a variety of activities for the all generations, the centre hosted an Elvis tribute performance and invited the older community to come and put on their ‘blue suede’ dancing shoes for an afternoon of classics songs from the King of Rock N Roll.

Residents had a wonderful time from start to finish and commented on how much they enjoyed the Elvis tribute. GESH hosts a lunch club every Wednesday for older people which Residents at Eastbank are now hoping to attend regularly to make more happy memories.
