Glasgow care home remembers Prince PhillipResidents and team members at HC-One’s Eastbank care home in Shettleson, Glasgow remembered the life and service of the Duke of Edinburgh.

Prince Phillip passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle on 9th April, on the day of his funeral everyone came together at Eastbank care home to celebrate his life and service to his country and wife, Her Majesty The Queen.

Residents shared their memories of the Royal wedding, facts about Prince Phillips life and toasted to the Duke of Edinburgh. It was a highly emotional moment as Residents watched the funeral but everyone agreed that it was a fitting send of for an amazing man.

Eastbank Home Manager, Terry Blackwood said: “Everyone at Eastbank is sending their love thoughts to Her Majesty, The Queen and the rest of the Royal family and they grieve the loss of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.”
