Green fingered Bridport care home Residents get gardeningResidents at HC-One’s The Hyde care home have enjoyed gardening together after gardener, Simon, had begin working hard to produce a selection of fruit, vegetables and flowers.

A selection of new potatoes, lettuce, broad beans were planted alongside Sweet Peas and Sweet Williams which Residents especially admired in the garden, as they helped to pick the produce and pass it on to Simon to set up a stall for members of the local community to purchase from.

Funds raised from the stall will go back into the garden to purchase more plants and seeds and grow another wide selection of delicious produce.

One Resident remarked: “I’ve enjoyed seeing the produce we’ve grown in the garden, it’s so lovely”
