Residents are getting a head start on their Easter preparations this year as the big day draws nearer at HC-One’s Brooklands care home in Grimsby, Lincolnshire.
Four lovely ladies from the home got together to make Easter cards for their loved ones as well as decorations to hang around the home.
The ladies all enjoyed a chat and a giggle as one Resident spoke about how she has five children to make cards for and another Resident joked: “You better get busy!”
They made beautiful paper daffodils to attach to their cards and to place around the home as they listened as sang along to Tom Jones, one of the group’s favourite singers. After completing their cards, they enjoyed tea and biscuits as they admired their handywork.
Brooklands Home Manager, Melanie Walton, commented: “It’s lovely to see the ladies together socialising.”
