Residents and Colleagues at HC One’s Appleton Lodge care home have been getting into the Halloween spirit today.
The lovely Residents and staff at the Stockport care home spent the afternoon creating Halloween decorations and decorating the home together.
All of the Residents enjoyed making pumpkin garlands and lanterns to display in the home. It was great for them to spend time together and socialising, whilst doing something creative.
Making the decorations sparked conversations between the Residents reminiscing from when they were younger.
The home manager commented “The Residents thoroughly enjoyed decorating the home and creating their own decorations. They had lots of laughs and chatter about making decorations with their children when they were younger. It was lovely to see.”
