Halloween party for Shard End ResidentsColleagues at The Orchards care home threw a Halloween party for Residents today.

The Residents enjoyed an afternoon tea followed by a tipple of Baileys. Then they played lots of different games and listened to lots of their favourite songs. Colleagues also hosted karaoke and a sing-a-long for everybody which they thoroughly enjoyed. Some of the Residents even shed a tear when the very talented Colleague, Darren sang them their favourite Elvis song.

All Colleagues took it in turns coming off the floor to help out.

Hazel Cassin, Resident, said it was one of the best days she’s ever had as, “We are not just friends here, we are her family.”

They loved the effort from all Colleagues with their costumes and the karaoke sing-a-long.

New Resident, Frank, said he had never been to a Halloween party before and it did not disappoint.

Home Manager, Simon Barnett, remarked, “Fantastic day had by all. Was lovely to see all the Residents enjoying themselves in this difficult time.”
