Halloween takes centre stage at Musselburgh care homeResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Drummohr care home in Wallyford have been getting in the mood for Halloween by creating some spooky decorations.

A group of Residents gathered in the homes lounge, socially distanced to begin creating decorative art for the Halloween weekend. Drummohrs wellbeing coordinator helped Residents who were struggling with scissors or glue and encouraged them to create some wonderful art.

Everyone involved had a great time, with afternoon tea and coffee being served in the lounge throughout the day whilst Colleagues put up the finished artwork and decorations.

One Drummohr Resident said: “I have really enjoyed the final outcome of the hard work we have put in to decorating.”

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and with the coronavirus squashing plans, the home decided to not let this wonderful tradition go to waste.

Mirelle Fyvie, Drummohr Home Manager said: “I am delighted to see Residents and staff making a joint effort to keep our Halloween celebrations alive.”
