Residents at HC-One’s Grosvenor House care home in Harrogate commemorated the fallen this year with some poppy themed cupcakes and a memorial service.
Everyone at Grosvenor House in Harrogate gathered in the homes cosy lounge area to begin watching the memorial service on TV that was held at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Westminster Abbey.
Afterwards Residents and Colleagues were treated to some delicious poppy cupcakes baked specially for the occasion by Grosvenor House Chef, Colin.
Grosvenor House Resident Janet said: “I have really enjoyed the Service and the cupcakes were delightful.”
Lezlee Leahy, wellbeing coordinator at Grosvenor House said: “Our Residents really enjoyed the Service from Westminster Abbey on the TV, I’m sure it must have brought back many memories for them.”
