Residents at HC-One’s Sheraton Court in Hartlepool enjoyed a bake off recently with staff and Residents alike really getting stuck in.
On Monday 7th December, Colleagues at Sheraton Court took part in a bake off with other Residents, create some lovely cakes, scones and puddings.
There are many different ways that baking can benefit Residents, those suffering from dementia or other cognitive issues. It can help reduce stress, trigger happy memories, stimulate senses and encourages creativity.
Residents really enjoyed the afternoon of baking and loved having the freedom to bake whatever they would like.
