Harvest Festival celebrations were underway at Altham Court care home in Lincoln as Residents were joined by their loved ones for a fun-filled day.
Celebrations started with a visit from Zoolab, as Residents had the opportunity to interact with some exotic creepy crawlies including snakes, Giant African Snails and more. While many enjoyed learning about the creatures’ habitats and diets, others plucked up the courage to hold them!
The afternoon continued with a visit from Reverend Osbourne, who gave a fantastic Harvest Festival service for Residents before guests enjoyed a delicious serving of sweet treats and warm drinks.
Altham Court was also delighted to donate a fantastic collection of food, which will go towards helping the local community.
Residents thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations, as Gillian said: “It was an amazing day, I would love Zoolab to come and visit the home again.”
Maureen added: “It was a brilliant day and ended with a fantastic service. Thank you to everyone who helped organise the day.”
