Harvest Festival celebrations start at Seabrooke ManorResidents of Seabrooke Manor care home, on Lavender Place in Ilford, celebrated Harvest Festival today with cheese and wine, singing and dancing.

People at the home got involved in making Harvest decorations whilst singing and chatting among each other.

“It was a warm and memorable day for some Residents and Colleagues as we were reminded of how we used to celebrate Harvest in the past,” a Colleague remarked.

One of the Residents who thoroughly enjoyed making decorations, known as ’Mrs M' said, “It was a good day and I would like to do more.”

Residents were smiling and joined in the event and comments were very positive. Residents interacted with the sing along and had a lovely afternoon together.

Gladys Chibanda, who is Seabrooke Manor care home’s Manager, commented, “The Residents enjoyed celebrating harvest and always get involved with the activities.”
