Harvest festival poem at Maple Court care homeDonations were collected in the weeks leading up to Harvest Festival for this year at Maple Court care home in Staffordshire.

Colleagues and Residents sang hymns and poems were also read out. One particular poem was written by the home’s Poetry Club, consisting of Residents Jan, Sylvia, Iris and Gladys, for the occasion. All were honoured that the poem was read aloud.

A beautiful afternoon tea followed.

Gladys said, “A great job done!”

The Harvest was donation to the local Salvation Army.

One of the Colleagues at the home said, “It was lovely to hear the staff and Residents singing together.”
