Harvest to Halloween – October at Perry Locks care homeOctober has been a busy month at Birmingham care home, Perry Locks. As everyone has been getting ready to celebrate Halloween and Harvest.

During these challenging times when Residents are not able to receive visitors, the Wellbeing teams are ensuring Residents are kept occupied by organising various fun filled activities. Mark Bucklass, Wellbeing Coordinator has spent time with the Residents on Perrywell House this month running craft sessions.

Residents Joyce Smith, Linda Trayers and Joan Webb enjoyed making Harvest wreaths and colouring Halloween pictures ready to decorate the lounge area.

Rebecca Bristow, Home Manager, commented, “The staff at Perry Locks are so multi-talented. They provided fun, interesting activities to keep our Residents occupied. I appreciate everything all staff are doing during this difficult time to keep the Residents safe.”
