Hayes Residents enjoying indoor floor gamesMiddlesex based care home, Aston House, hosted a selection of indoor floor activities for Residents today.

Activity Coordinator, Scarlet Vaz, said, “We love to keep active here at Aston House care home and are always on the lookout for fun physical activities.”

Today Residents and Colleagues enjoyed some indoor floor games which included aiming and throwing balls and ropes through a scoring loop. This is great for arm strength, stimulating the mind and hand-eye coordination (and great fun too!)

Scarlet went on, “It was wonderful to see our Residents enjoying their time, staying active and socialising.”

Afterwards, Residents enjoyed a nice cup of tea with some cookies. They also appreciated listening to some music and had a wonderful fun-filled morning.

One of the Residents, Alice, remarked, " I thoroughly enjoyed playing and I look forward to get a better score next time."

Home Manager, Seema Sandeep-Jose, commented, “Through such activities we come to know our Residents much better. It is indeed a great way to bond with our Residents and most importantly to have fun!
