Hayes care home Residents create postcards for loved onesHC-One’s Aston House care home Residents have been especially missing their loved ones recently, so much so that they decided to create their own postcards to be sent to their Relatives.

Residents have enjoyed getting creative as they made the cards specific to each of their families, with lovely bright colours and kind words, as well as different designs.

One Relative remarked at how touched they were to receive the card, stating how thankful they were for the Resident to be safe within the home. The incentive even gave Residents the opportunity to rekindles relationships, as one Resident sent the card to her cousin who she has not spoken with in a long times.

Seema Jose, home manager, commented: “These postcards have been a wonderful idea for Residents to stay in touch with family members. It’s nice to see them stay connected and has improved wellbeing massively.”
