Henley care home Residents get knitting
Residents at HC-One’s Thamesfield care home were delighted as they came together during their knit and natter group, to create a wonderful blanket.

Each Resident decided to knit their own individual square in the hope of creating a blanket for a local charity, as well as tube covers for premature babies.

As the tube covers are only able to be used once, a lot of them are required, so the Residents were more than happy to pass their time each day by knitting for this cause.

Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed the knitting, with some Residents even getting competitive to see who could knit the most of one item.

One Resident remarked: “I’ve really enjoyed knitting again, it’s such a relaxing hobby.”
