William and Beryl, two Residents at HC-One’s Himley Mill care home, enjoyed speaking of the memories they had of their relationship over the years.
The couple spoke of how they met during the war in 1944, marrying in Darleston on the 11th September 1948. They commented on how they have now shared a 60th, 65th and 70th milestone anniversary, receiving a card from the Queen for each one.
The pair share a son and daughter, as well as a now extended family which includes three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. They both sat and spoke about how much they love their family, and how they thoroughly enjoy being together.
