Himley care home benefits from a significant transformative refurbishment programmeHC-One is delighted to announce that significant investment programme has been completed at Himley Mill care home in Dudley.

As part of HC-One’s strategy to better meet evolving care needs, in particular the growing number of people living with dementia, it is currently undertaking a large investment programme to refurbish and upgrade more than 200 of its care homes, including Himley Mill care home.

HC-One is committed to fostering an environment that truly feels like home, and enhancing these homes will help HC-One to provide the best environment for Residents, as well as for Colleagues, and modernise the facilities it offers in local communities. The refurbishment project at Himley Mill began in November 2020 and ended in February 2021.

HC-One Area Director, Jenifer Woodward, commented: “We’re really excited that the plan for Himley Mill has been safely completed. When it is safe to do so, we look forward to welcoming more visitors to see our new look.”

The refurbishment programme is part of HC-One’s vision to be the UK’s first-choice care provider in the communities it serves.

Located in the neighbourly village of Himley, just outside Wolverhampton, Himley Mill is a friendly care home, that offers nursing and nursing dementia care, as well as care for young people with physical disabilities.
