Hull care home create some feel good bannersResidents and staff at Kesteven Grange care home have been getting creative making some wonderful banners today.

Colleagues at the home in Hull joined forces with the Residents to get together and create banners that could be put up outside of the home, to share positive messages with anyone passing by on their daily exercise routines.

The Residents really enjoyed getting to paint the banners and make them look as colourful and lovely as possible!

Residents wanted to make sure that people outside were smiling just as much as they have been inside the home, and to send out a message of keeping safe. They wanted to show they are all thinking of all the important people who are working at the NHS and other frontline jobs.

The banners have been put up pride of place at the front of the home for all to see. It’s lovely to keep a sense of community through these difficult times, and we have noticed the banners receiving smiles from passers-by – they are doing the trick!

One of the Residents commented “It’s nice to show that we are thinking of other, just as much as they are thinking of us.”
