Hull care home prepares for summerGreen fingered Residents at HC-One’s Kesteven Grange care home in Kingswood, Hull have been busy preparing for the summer months by preparing the vegetable patch.

A group of likeminded Residents have been busy planting vegetables in anticipation of the warmer months ahead, a variety of vegetables have been planted and placed in the home’s greenhouse including tomatoes, courgettes and runner beans.

Everyone was pleased with their hard work and are looking forward to watching the vegetables grow, one Resident commented: “Home grown veg tastes so much better, I can’t wait till they are ready to eat.”

Kesteven Grange Home Manager, Kellie Moore said: “It’s lovely to see our Residents getting involved in this gardening project, it will be great to see the final results.”
