Residents at HC-One’s Roby Lodge care home welcomed students from a local primary school as they celebrated National Story Telling Week.
Everyone enjoyed themselves as the children told their favourite stories to Residents, engaging in the stories and acting out characters.
All Residents enjoyed the visit and look forward to the school children returning soon for another visit to the home.
Home manager, Lisa Casey, remarked: “It was lovely to see a connection between the Residents and school children, everyone has enjoyed listening to the stories and seeing the confidence of the children grow as they read the stories aloud.”
